After successful completion the student will receive a SABA completion Certificate.

This is a basic course for booksellers wanting to learn more about the intricacies and challenges around selection, marketing and selling of children's, teenage and young adult books. We will look at how to create the ideal children space, which books to select, how to follow trends and the importance of book knowledge and ways of communicating or imparting that knowledge to your customer.

Retail is a highly competitive arena. When you are designing a children’s section, it is important to keep in mind that the environment plays a key role in your marketing and sales efforts. Consider the interior design of the store as your silent salesman putting people in the mood to buy.
